Pesquisa destaca aumento da violência de gênero em sala de aula

O ambiente escolar, que deveria ser um espaço de segurança e desenvolvimento, tem se tornado palco de agressões sistemáticas contra meninas e a população LGBTI+.

Estudos recentes acendem um alerta vermelho para educadores e gestores: a violência de gênero não é um evento isolado, mas uma barreira real que compromete a aprendizagem e o futuro de milhares de estudantes no Brasil.

A pesquisa "Livres para sonhar? Percepções da comunidade escolar sobre violência contra meninas", realizada pela organização Serenas em parceria com a Plano CDE, revela a face invisível do desrespeito nas salas de aula.

Ao ouvir mais de 1,3 mil professores, o estudo mapeou comportamentos que, embora comuns, deixam marcas profundas. 68% dos docentes já presenciaram comentários constrangedores sobre a aparência das alunas.

52% observaram tratamento desigual direcionado especificamente a meninas negras em atividades pedagógicas.

A frequência desses episódios é alarmante: 31% dos professores relatam que o desrespeito ou a agressão ocorrem quase diariamente. Mais do que um problema de convivência, a violência atinge o desempenho acadêmico. Para 86% dos entrevistados, esses conflitos impactam diretamente a capacidade de aprender e a permanência das estudantes na escola.

O cenário se torna ainda mais crítico quando analisado sob a perspectiva da diversidade. A Pesquisa Nacional sobre o Bullying no Ambiente Educacional Brasileiro, conduzida pela Aliança Nacional LGBTI+ e o Instituto Unibanco, traz números que evidenciam a hostilidade enfrentada por estudantes que fogem aos padrões tradicionais.

Em 2024, impressionantes 90% dos estudantes LGBTI+ afirmaram ter sido vítimas de agressões verbais. A violência física também é uma realidade assustadora, atingindo 34% desse grupo. O índice de agressões físicas é ainda mais elevado entre estudantes trans e travestis, chegando a 38%.

Para os especialistas, o combate a essas práticas não é apenas uma questão ética mas uma necessidade pedagógica. Sem um ambiente acolhedor, o processo de ensino-aprendizagem é interrompido pelo medo e pela exclusão.

Ricardo Henriques, superintendente executivo do Instituto Unibanco, reforça que a escola precisa assumir um papel ativo na desconstrução desses ciclos de violência. “Os dados mostram que a violência de gênero não é um fenômeno isolado, mas parte da rotina escolar de muitas meninas. Quando comentários sobre aparência, humilhações ou agressões se tornam frequentes, o ambiente de aprendizagem se deteriora. Enfrentar esse problema é uma agenda educacional estratégica, porque garantir segurança e respeito dentro da escola é condição básica para que meninas possam aprender, permanecer e projetar seu futuro.”
